Established licensed restaurant and apartment sold for the first time in 17 years
Having been in the same ownership for the past 17 years the French Connection Restaurant in Taunton, Somerset, has recently been sold by licensed property specialists Stonesmith of Exeter.
Whilst this is a new venture, first time owners Ian McCulloch and Marc Ginders have many years experience in the hospitality industry. Ian is a qualified chef and Marc has taken on the front of house role.
The style of the cuisine will remain the same, specialising in home cooked continental cuisine with a French theme and English twist. There is an extensive A La Carte menu, and Ian uses the best fresh and locally sourced produce available, including local meat and fish. A full menu is available from their website www.frenchconnectionrestaurant.co.uk and they are open Tues – Sat, 7 – 11.30pm.
French Connection has been established since 1995 and over that time it has built up a loyal following. It is situated in a busy part of Taunton on one of the main thoroughfares to the town centre and benefits from being in a sought after trading position.
The restaurant is part of a terraced two storey property and briefly provides a ground floor restaurant with 38 covers, a fully equipped catering kitchen, and a second floor 2 bed owners flat.
Stonesmith sold French Connection for an undisclosed figure.
