Globe Hotel Brixham SOLD

Substantial Grade II Listed freehouse

Previously trading as a wet led locals pub with letting rooms, The Globe Hotel in Brixham has now been sold by licensed property specialists Stonesmith of Exeter.

The business was owned by a national pub company but was closed in the summer of 2010. The decision was eventually made to place the pub on the market as a freehold property.

The new owners plan a major refurbishment of the entire property over the coming months.

Brixham is regarded as one of the country’s principle fishing ports and has grown in popularity with tourists. The Globe occupies a prominent position in Fore Street, the main pedestrianised shopping area within the town centre.

A substantial mid terraced property, The Globe briefly comprises a lounge bar, back bar, family room, beer cellar, kitchen, function room and 8 letting rooms. Former owners accommodation provides a lounge, dining room, kitchen, shower room, bathroom and WC. Externally a central coaching yard leads to a courtyard area and store rooms.

Stonesmith sold The Globe Hotel off an asking price of £295,000
