Trefoil Guest House, Brixham, SOLD

A Four Star Guest House In Brixham, South Devon, Bought For Change Of Lifestyle.

Looking for a change of lifestyle, Pam Jones and Malcolm Trinder from Oxfordshire fell in love with Brixham in South Devon and have purchased a high quality guest house. The Trefoil Guest House has been sold by licensed and leisure property specialists Stonesmith of Exeter, on behalf of David and Hannah Harmer.

Impressed with the spacious and modern accommodation combined with the well established business levels, Pam and Malcolm plan to continue to offer bed and breakfast accommodation but may offer evening meals in the future. They also plan to build upon the excellent standards and refurbish the letting bedrooms in keeping with the contemporary modern theme throughout.

Trefoil already has a web site www.trefoilguesthouse.co.uk and has been awarded 4 stars by Visit Britain which reflects the quality and standards of the guest house.

Trefoil is a 3 storey property set in a prominent trading position on New Road close to the town and harbour. The property briefly provides a ground floor dining room, lounge, kitchen and private owner’s accommodation, with a lounge, bathroom, 2 bedrooms and an office. The letting accommodation is spread out over the upper floors and provides 6 en-suite bedrooms.

Externally to the front of Trefoil there is off road parking and to the rear there is a private walled and terraced garden with a patio and decked areas.

Mike Phillips, of Stonesmith who handled the sale, commented “Despite some of the toughest market conditions experienced in many years, the sale of the Trefoil Guest House demonstrates that high quality guest houses with established levels of trade are selling, if priced correctly. We wish Pam and Malcolm every success with their new venture”

Stonesmith sold Trefoil off an asking price of £389,950 for the freehold interest.
